"If you believe in Allah and in what We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Criterion (Yawm al-Furqan / the Battle of Badr), the day when the two armies met... And Allah is over all things competent."
(Surah Al-Anfal, 41)YAWM AL-FURQAN
The Battle of Badr in the Holy Quran
The verses that announce Allah's divine aid (nusrah) to the believers on the Day of Badr and the sanctity of that day which separated truth from falsehood.
"Remember when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, 'Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another.' Allah made it only as good tidings and so that your hearts would be at ease thereby."
(Surah Al-Anfal, 9-10)"And already did Allah give you victory at Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah; perhaps you will be grateful. Remember when you said to the believers, 'Is it not enough for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down?'"
(Surah Aal-i-Imran, 123-124)
