Noble Hadiths About the People of Badr

"The best of my Ummah are those who participated in the Battle of Badr."

(Bukhari, Maghazi, 11)

"Gabriel (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked: 'How do you regard the people of Badr among you?' The Prophet said: 'They are among the best of Muslims.' Gabriel said: 'And so are the angels who were present at Badr; they are the best of angels.'"

(Bukhari, Maghazi, 11)

"Perhaps Allah looked upon the people of Badr and said: 'Do as you wish, for I have already forgiven you.'"

(Bukhari, Maghazi, 9; Muslim, Fada'il al-Sahaba, 36)

"On the day of Badr, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Here is Gabriel, holding the head of his horse, equipped with the instruments of war, coming to your aid!'"

(Bukhari, Maghazi, 11)

It is narrated from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I hope, God willing, that none of those who participated in the Battle of Badr will enter the Hellfire."

A Muslim companion, while chasing a polytheist, heard the sound of a whip and a rider from above. The Prophet ﷺ, when informed, said: "Those were the ones who came from the third heaven to help you (they were angels)."
